I would like know what kind of medical exam I need to have to pass my pilot private license?

I know in USA it's called "3rd class" exam and in France it's called differently.

As I want pass my license in USA I'll need to find a "FAA" doctor in France or Switzerland to be sure first before go to USA.

the best way is to contact a local school or talk to your jeti pilots. the 3rd class examination is very basic and as long as you have 2 legs, 2 arms and a head you will pass it;)

I don't know whether you've assessed this properly - i suppose you have; but there's no harm in reminding you that if you want to fly in Europe on a JAA license, you'd need 100 hours total before you apply for conversion (else you need to stick to N registered planes on your FAA license).

That's enough extra hours to wipe out the price advantage of doing it in the US.
