What products are you using to clean the interior of business jets? Are there specific fragrances you use before passengers board, if so, where do you buy them and what is popular? Are therir specific vacuum cleaners for private jets or do you use an industrial/ home type?

I'd also be interested in knowing , do you clean your own aircraft, or do you get specialist contractors in to do it for you ? Is it part of a flight attendants/flightcrew remit ? I can imagine of few of you polishing your own nosecones, but interiors....?

Our crew always clean the aircraft interior ourselves, I would stress that all of the crew play their part in this and we have a very shiny Dyson to help. That way we can be sure a passenger will never open a table to find crumbs etc left by previous customers. It ensures that if they do find something we have missed we can at least apologize for our own mistakes and not try to pass on the blame which would look less professional and feel worse too. I would like to think that doing this gives us a pride in our "own aircraft" and that that this is seen by the customers.:):)
