In your role as part of an aircrew , how many hours a week, averaged over 3 months do you spend away from home ?

Would you change your shift pattern ? If so how ?

Corporate aviation can be unpredicatable at the best of times. It may be that I am home for a complete week one month, then gone for three weeks the next. I think companies like Netjets allow for a rostered pattern that allows for crews to plan their lives, other companies may have a two week on and two week off type of roster.
Owners and corporations are much more aware of crews needs as well as the cost of training, so it is in everyones interest to maintain crews.

I've had to average it out as I do 6 on 5 off tours. (Should give a pretty good hint who I work for). Using the 3 month average, I am away for just over half of it.
