Flight Data Monitoring

I am writing a report concerning Flight Data Monitoring and Analysis and I am interested to know about whether your companies do this even though it is mandated only for larger aircraft ? Is it done in house ? Do you use commercial tools or rely on IATA's offering or Flight Data Systems Insight system ?
