Investigators in the UK are assessing damage to two BAE Systems Avro RJs after a minor collision on the ramp at London City Airport today. The aircraft involved were a British Airways CityFlyer RJ100, and a Lufthansa CityLine RJ85. A spokeswoman for London City Airport says the damage, in the region of the jets’ tails, is thought to be “superficial” but adds that the aircraft have been taken out of service for inspection.
