Hi Everyone,
I recently lost my Flight Attendant position (11 years) with ATA Airlines due to bankruptcy. I am interested in entering the corporate world. My past experience has been private yacht chef and MGM Grand Air. That was back in the 80's and 90's, so I am currently taking some refresher courses with culinary arts and revisiting my serving skills and knowledge of wines etc.
What is the best avenue in applying for corporate flight attendant? ;)
Do you have the right to live and work in Europe? There are many positions available. If not, I would suggest you do your refresher training at Flight Safety International in the States and the people you meet there will be able to connect you with any jobs available.

Thanks Adam for the information. I am continuing the culinary arts. The European tip sounds great, but would be better match if I were single.
I do have some good leads and may be training corporate flight attendants on etiquette and cooking skills aboard. And have the opportunity to take a couple flights per month too! It is a work in progress and I will let you know how it comes out. I have friends in the industry "Net Jets" and they are giving me helpful hints.
There is a demand for people like me with the yachting chef experience. It seems many contract flight attendants lack the culinary. So we shall see.

A friend if mine went thru the safety training and told me it was a repeat of what we currently know. To be perfectly honest, I feel it is not what you know, possibly who you know! :rolleyes:
