How have you felt the effects of the shortage , if at all? Are you getting calls from agents with exciting sounding deals , or do you not take their calls as you are happy in your current role?

There are many good jobs available now however finding the right corporate job that suits you can be challenging.
There are three things that mainly concern pilots when they look for employment;
1) Salary
2) Time off
3) Good crew to work with.
Often one or two of these are met but to get all three in corporate aviation is not easy. The grass is always greener on the other side, however if these three are met, I would try and hold on to the job for as long as possible!

Its interesting to note that nothing relating to "career development" is in your list. Do you think that corporate pilots have satisfied their level of ambition and seniority, and are now more interested in the obvious benefits ? If anyone has the average seniority and experience of a corporate pilot vs airline pilot then please post details !

The point of seniority with majors (well apart from salary) is that the more senior you are, the more you can choose your trips and scheduling. Since private jets don't have something resembling a regular schedule I'd say that's a notable difference. Also seniority allows stepping sideways (up-down) to different equipment which you don't necessarily have with the small private operators.
