Assuming you are assigned to a single aircraft, how reliable is it? Bearing in mind that when it goes U/S you are either subjected to a stopover or down time, what is your emotional response? I heard someone recently making some stereotypical comments about a French aircraft type...you can name aircraft types if you like...

not much respond so far:cool:
I'm not flying but worked the past 25years on various aircraft types:o it is not easy to answer this question as you have operators flying 20hrs a month and others 80 to 150hrs.
some operators having a hangar, an experienced crew and a good maintenance....;) others not or non of them. Some pilots don't care and just happy to fly from A-B, doesn't matter what's wrong.
you can find various maintenance schedules out there, some focused to minimise scheduled maintenance visits, some are simply splitting as much as they can.

low utilization: falcon, learjet
low utilization: top class gulfstream or global
