On April the 25th, 2008 at the Aviation Technical Centre of Almaty International Airport an addition to the existing 16,640mē of production space was made when a new, modern hangar was put into operation with total area of 6,415mē, which enables maintenance to be performed simultaneously for two Airbus 321 aircraft. At this stage it lets the Aviation Technical Centre of Almaty International Airport satisfy the demand of airlines for base maintenance of both Western European and CIS types of aircraft. The company also plans to build another hangar which will enable them to perform base maintenance (such as D-checks) on Boeing 747-200s, 300s and 400s.
