I see that a number of you are flying the Dassault aircraft with the sexy Easy avionics fit. Whats you impression ? Are you hypnotised by trackballs ? Fascinated by terrain colours?

No Doubt, it is a great system to operate. There are small things that could be improved upon and I beleive they are actively working on. it for the next update
The situational awaress is amazing and it receives a 5 out of 5 from me!!

Do you have the HUD option on your aircraft ?

I Just finished my 900 EASY recurrent and had a good look at the 7X - Sim. Pretty much the same as the other EASY setup.

I'd love to fly that joystick setup - apparently it's even easier than others.

How configurable is it ? Can you route all overlays (eg FMS Route in Rose over map) to any display, or is there a fixed dedicated display for aircraft health for example ?

I'm not sure what you mean - but with the I-NAV, FMS route on the rose, while possible, is redundant.

You can basically put just about anything you need anywhere you want on the two middle MFDs. i especially like the vertical profile.

Sorry I was referring to the graphical representation of the route, not an FMS entry screen. I like the point-and-click route modification and rubber cursor re-routing.

I was just curious as to how configurable the four displays are, to reroute the data in the case of a failed display-panel for example.

Vertical profiles are excellent, if you are talking about the situational terrain awareness displays. The A380 one has very limited resolution, as it is intended to fly the usual LHL profile. The military displays, designed for tactical missions have much more detailed terrain data and more critical performance requirements...

The displays automatically revert in the case of a failure. Data is kept on three internal FMCs

How do you like your widescreen display aspect ? Multiple display types too on single display surface. Do you find it comfortable to assimilate?
